Does Conor take his head clean off or does Gaethje survive round 1 and start hunting Conor down?

Gaethje is too reckless, he would get slept in one round and it would look as masterful as the Alvarez performance.

Conor's probably the best in the sport at fighting brawlers.

I seriously doubt Gaethje can be KOed in the 1st.
Gaethje loses by TKO after he gets exhausted, after so many punches.

No idea, though I know Gaethje has shown respect towards Conor in the past, saying his left hand can sleep anyone.

In a stand-up war, McG stops him.

If Gaethje actually ever utilizes his D1 wrestling, things could get interesting.

Gaethje has exactly 0 chances to win this.

    Edit*

Wait, now that i think about it, 0 chances is not correct.
If he fights with only Goal to win, indifferent of what the fight will be fun to watch or not.
Gaethje has killer leg kicks, so if he fights only to not get punched and to land low kicks...
then it will look alot different than expected.

If he fights the same way as always... no chance

    Justin isn’t on that level.

Gaethje would get hit right on the button so often he'd wouldn't get out the first round.

The way Gaethje fights, this would probably be Conor's easiest fight in the top 15.

Unless Gaethje actually decided to fight differently and use his wrestling. Imagine that; tall and rangey wrestler with great chin, great cardio, nonstop pressure, and decent striking. Probably Conor's toughest fight in the division.

    Hmm...Interesting matchup
Actually? I'll be the unpopular opinion and say Gaethje has a chance of getting it done. He's tough enough to withstand some shots and those vicious leg kicks would absolutely eat up Mcgregors wide stance. And lord knows he could land some big shots on Mcgregor. And that fabled D1 wrestling.
I'd say he's got a better shot than most are giving him.

When you block punches with your face, eating a left from Conor won't go for well for you.

    Unless you're 3x his size.

Gaethje would have 0.5 percent chance of winning

This, although I disagree with the last sentence. I think huge wrestlers like Khabib, Tony and Kevin Lee are always gonna pose more of a challenge for Conor than any version of Gaethje.

Money would be on Conor of course but Gaethje has a chance with the right strategy.

Justin wades in and tries to brawl too much

I think it looks like the Alvarez fight but Justin gets even more bloodied
