How does Conor McGregor match up against the top 10 Welterweights in the UFC?

I can't believe the people saying Lawler loses. He got KO'd by Woodley who hits like a truck. Conor's power comes from accuracy. Lawler would KO Conor sooner than the opposite for sure.

2. Colby Covington - loss. Too big. Too much pressure & cardio
3. Darren Till - loss. too big. Cant deal with the range and power
4. Rafael Dos Anjos - Win. Not a legit WW. Freezes under pressure. Chin suspect
5. Stephen Thompson - loss. Too rangy. Stalemate UD win for Wonderboy
6. Robbie Lawler - loss, too much power and determination
7. Kamaru Usman - loss. See Colby
8. Demian Maia - loss. Cant stop the takedown. Sub in the 1st when theyre still dry
9. Neil Magny - loss. Too rangy. Cant handle grappling

He doesn’t. His success mainly comes from being the bigger man. A loss to Khabib will prove it. What does Conor do if/when He loses to Khabib? Does he try to fight the top guys? Does he cut a ton of weight to fight the smaller guys? Good on Conor for taking this fight because if he gets rag dolled it will end the hype quickly.

With a loss in this fight he will be 2-2. Many will realize that without his size advantage he is a good fighter that needs size to be great.

On the other side if he does beat Khabib he will prove to everyone myself included that his success is not dependent of him being the bigger fighter. This will be his toughest test and I applaud him for taking it.

He wouldn't have taken the shots Nate took. The fight would've looked like RDA vs Pettis but with a finish.

Nate 1-2'd and strangled Conor. RDA beat Nate worse on the feet than Conor did and Pettis is a better grappler than Conor.

He would smoke Masvidal. Had a decent shot against RDA. The rest rape him badly.

The only striker there that could potentially utilise his size and chin over Conor is Darren Till

And the only fighters there that could trouble Conor would be Colby/Maia/Usman

Conor STILL has a great shot at beating all 3 (via striking)

The most difficult fight for Conor among those 3 would probably be Maia (contrary to idiot belief wrestling is not Conor's weakness, it's potentially someone who has better BJJ then Conor. I think Jones was on to something when he said Conor will wreck Khabib because Khabib doesn't have the BJJ to go along with his wrestling)

Regardless, this really is a pointless thread because Conor is way too small for WW

but don't get it twisted, skill for skill Conor is significantly superior to everybody in that top 10.

The fights Conor would win would be due to Conor's skill and IQ

Because of the fact Conor is nothing but skill and fight IQ - and relies on nothing but his immaculate skill and fight IQ, Conor will always have the potential to have great success against heavier opponents (ESPECIALLY if it stays standing then it's Conor ALL DAY over every one bigger)...size really only matters in the grappling

Threads like this just show how otherworldly next level Conor is though

His sherdog haters are so desperate to see Conor lose, they want to match Conor up against heavy weights and shit LOL

What does that have to do with the grappling aspect of MMA, the aspect the RDA is far superior at than Conor. RDA has better takedowns and a better top game than Eddie. Styles make fights, and RDA's style takes Conor down and does whatever he wants to him.
