In a southpaw vs southpaw match, a left uppercut is probably the hardest punch to land, especially when the guy is so much taller.

I really tink Conors streak of accurate predictions is coming to an end here. I could MAYBE see a lead hand uppercut, but a left???? Nah.

Can anyone remember any cases of southpaw vs southpaw where a fighter actually lands a left uppercut? I can't recall any. Nate is much taller and stands almost completely sideways make a left uppercut basically impossible.

Tots?

Gifs would be welcome.

If orthodox vs orthodox can do it, I don't see why not, in two lefty stances. Iron Mike lead the way

Have been wondering same thing TS, I'm sure Conor will attack with a variety of strikes but given Nate's reach and stance when he boxes, I don't see the left uppercut being the punch that lands,

Conor's streak of predictions has been over since Siver when he said he was going to take him out in under 2 minutes.

Bro it's a fight not figure skating. Everything lands

Because he does this and leans right

Uppercuts acutally work very good for shorter fighters.

Exactly it's the overhand right or left that lands good on a taller guy and the uppercut lands good on guys who dip their head down or are shorter than you.

or did you mean short guys are good at uppercuts im confused here

I meant shorter fighters can land uppercuts on the inside. Like tyson for example.

Diaz does have a habit of over extending on his left

Because Nate overextends when throwing the same jab, straight right combo over and over again

omg please every time someone uses an example of a punch they use Mike Tyson there is only one mike tyson and he could land those punches because he moved so quickly in and out and had tremendous speed you show me how many short guys are successful at breaking a taller guys reach and landing uppercuts at will on taller guys.

Tyson is a beast, but this isn't boxing. N Nate won't be bobbing n weaving in place while bent over at the waist.
