How does a prime Silva vs Whittaker fight play out?

Silva was a laser, even more so than Izzy. But I feel like he needed his space and distance to set up killshots, whereas Adesanya showed that he can land killer blows from short distance.

Of course Silva also has the dangerous clinch and knees, and he demonstrated that he can fight on the retreat against Griffin, but thats a far cry from Whittaker.

Who takes it?

Prime Anderson would have made Rob pay dearly last Saturday.

Deal with it.

Silva sends Whittaker's head to the moon

Silva would dismantle him without much resistance

By Sherdog standards you’re only as good as your last fight. Since both lost their last fight, Sherdoggers will have to flip a coin as to who wins.

if he fights the way he did last saturday he gets forrest griffin'd

Prime doesn't mean most recent fight...

Rob is a textbook fighter to get picked apart by Silva.

He doesn’t need space and distance with striking. When he was in the matrix, his counter striking was awesome and he would have absolutely killed Robert.

Silva fights were boring when his opponent didn’t push the pace on him because he didn’t want to lead. Rob would have came out, pushed the pace and got countered and finished with something like Griffin.

Even Silva now would have a decent chance of catching him. His precision is precise.

Silva, but never count out the Reaper

Not too much different than watching Anderson vs leben.

Erick Silva isn’t even in his prime yet lol. He’s got so much potential

I'm guessing either something like him vs Stephan Bonnar/Dan Henderson or a 5 round dominance like Anderson vs Thales Leites and Damian Maia.

Cmon man there’s levels to this.

Anderson brutal ko in 1

Anderson is the greatest striker to EVER grace the Octagon

Not an easy task for either guy but Whittaker beats him IMO. Andy is no Izzy. Rob is arguably the best middleweight ever, up there with Izzy, Andy, Yoel & Jacare.

Prime aka roided Silva would be too much for the bloated WW

He would have been picked apart fierce with counter strikes the way he lunged in with haymakers.
