How do you see a Brunson Costa fight playing out?

Brunson takes him down and emasculates him.
 
Costa shuts Brunson down. Fight makes sense though.
 
Battle of who folds first. I personally respect Costa's takedown defense. And the man is strong as fuck. People claim Yoel doesn't try to take anyone down but Costa shrugged of a couple of good attempts.

At the same time, if Derek can press forward and not allow Costa to press him back too much, maybe he can get a worn Costa to the ground. Brunson doesn't have the technical standup game but he does pack enough heat to back Costa off if he times his attacks well.

I can see paths to victory for both. It'll be a battle of brute strength, will, and heart. I don't think Brunson can takedown Costa when he's fresh. It's a close fight.

Bear in mind Brunson is ridiculously strong. He manhandled Romero a couple of times.

But yeah, I fully agree with your assessment. Both have the ability to win, I slightly favour Costa, but I hope Brunson wins.
 
I'd favor Costa, but he's vulnerable to calf-kicks, and Brunson is smart enough to exploit it.

Unless he's been mentally damaged by his loss to Izzy. As much as I wanted to see Costa fight Whitaker, I really didn't want to see either lose. I don't mind this fight though.
 
Brunson still seems a bit chinny, and I really dislike how he still pulls back with his chin up high.

True but that was many many fights ago. Hes ot older now. I don't think he can repeatedly take and hold Costa down. I thibk theresba good chance for Costa in that fight
 
Costa would murder him against the cage, he wouldn't allow him a single chance at survival unlike Holland.
