Watched the Hendo fight recently and also the Werdum one. Fedor knocked them both to the ground and attempted a ground and pound but instead got smacked up with Hendo and submitted against Werdum. In the Hendo fight he didn't even seem to realise that Hendo was attempting a pass. In the Werdum fight he didn't seem to notice he was about to get his arm locked up. So is this just one offs or does Fedor not have a great ground game?

One of the best ground games in Hw history. Not just dangerous subs in all positions but also ground and pound to smash you face.

Respect the goat ya goof

He was one of the greatest submission fighters i have ever seen personally.

Pete Sampras is not good at tennis.
Any man in the current Top 100 would beat him.

His positional deficiencies got exposed big time in the Bigfoot fight, but he had regressed so terribly with his grappling he was almost a completely different fighter.

His hips were godly though in his prime, probably best seen in his Coleman fights

That "Feedor" clown got submitted and tagged up on the ground many times during his lackluster career. Nothing memorable about his "ground game," mainly because he didn't have one.

Uh.... He was the sambo world grandmaster you pathetic troll.

Terribly overrated ground game. The only people he ever submitted off his back had zero idea about submission defense. Also look what Bigfoot and Hendo did to him on the ground, not to mention getting pounded out by that tyre changer guy.

Yeah... Go watch the Nog fights and realize you should never post in here again.

41yo Chuck got knocked out by Rich Franklin's broken arm.

I think the plethora of miraculous armbars he ripped off out of nowhere as well as his decimating Big Nog on the ground for about 2.25 full fights are a better indication of his prowess on the ground than his reckless, sloppy showings in two late career fights at the point when all he did was wing power punches from bell to bell, but that may just be me.
