How do you post to the bottom or middle of a webpage?

Anybody care to explain? If I post a link and want someone to read the bottom of the page, how do you tell the browser to go there within the link? It must be something simple...

a bookmark is something that will do that, but I'm unsure if you can post them.

try googling "HTML + Bookmarks" and see what that gets you.

read the bottom of the page

this would be my best advice. just tag the hyperlink with something like "read the bottom of the page"

don't know if you can actually link someone else's browser to a certain part of a page

It can be done by the person running the site by adding an anchor point to a specific part of the page, but if the site doesn't already have that there's no way you can do that yourself.

You can however make a link to a specific post on a forum by clicking the number in the upper right hand corner of that post. Like this... #2
