Revolutionary time in the sport of mixfight right now. How do you feel as a fan about the direction of where its going??

    -UFC sold
    -Heebok
    -Legends getting old
    -Testing USADA

Do you feel like the sport is better and more exciting than it was from 2008-2012?

Some say its peaking, others say its growing and both could be right on some level. How do you feel as a fan about the sport today? More interested than ever or losing interest?

Its a rough ride but I guess the purge was necessary. At least the great shoops are still plentifull.

I'm worried . Not gonna lie.

I can see the day that the UFC just gets Justin Beiber and some other douche to train for a couple months and puts it on PPV.

Would blow any McGregor card out of the water.

    That scares me.

With ABC actually looking at changing the rules to suit MMA with people with MMA experience serving on those boards the state of MMA can get far better. Or go Olympics Judo route and get watered down......

Agreed. It's wild and unpredictable again. I was getting burnt out but the last year or so has pulled me back in.

I've been botching more fight picks than ever, which is good in a weird way, MMA needs to shock you sometimes.

Its a joke. Always has been, always will be. The top dogs only go after popularity and mainstream appeal. Untested fighters touted as "once in a lifetime", "pretty athletes", rankings dont matter and no mandatory's. Biggest mma company UFC president saying shit like "how can I deny Conor". Its real blood and violence but for a WWE audience.

I focus more on what goes on inside the octagon instead of outside, and the fights are awesome

Not enough wars lately. Champs need to stop getting finished in round 1. Otherwise great.

I've had enough of champions being able to decide who the #1 contender is. That is taking the "sport" down a dangerous road.

    Not really happy

half the champs are not warriors and fighting #1s. All money fights even calling out retired fighters like Ty-Run.

That Reebok gear looks like shit. Much preferred diversity of sponsors gear.

Who cares about fighters wearing awful sponsors? The regular viewer doesn't give a F

Totally possible and I actually think Justin Beiber might actually consider fighting after his music crap is over. He knows the public don't like him and dude's father was a muay thai instructor, this and the fact that Beiber trains boxing at Goosen gym regularly makes me think he might want to do a token MMA fight to gain some kind of street cred so nobody thinks he's a little BIATCH like everyone does.

But the worst thing about the UFC is the fact that they don't honor the ranking system.

his music and peoples opinion of him has only gotten better and better lately

either way JB with 6 months training would decimate the LW division imo

gotta admit I'm losing a little interest..still watch every card top to bottom though.

alot of cards have been lackluster lately..i know it still makes for some fun fights but its hard to get excited for certain ppvs now.
