How do you feel about Merab, Pantoja and Mohammed being the champs?

I have nothing against these great fighters and I can’t hate on anyone that steps in a ufc octagon. Warrior shit.
but this might legitimately be the least compelling group of champions the UFC has had in twenty years. Astonishing.

Don't care to tune into any of their fights unless they're on super stacked cards where other fights will make up for their inevitable snooze fest uneventful decisions.

Why is Pantoja mentioned alongside the other two? He is a savage, his fights are usually exciting and he has almost twice the amount of finishes in his wins (18) compared to going the distance (10).

IMO Merab is also fun to watch, Belal not so much.

He's turned lay and pray recently

I don’t know how you got all three of them in the same sentence?

Pantoja is exciting, versatile, always delivers, kill or to be killed fighter, has a variety of finishes in the organization and very entertaining scrambles and back takes, fights anyone in front of him.

Merab has one of the best wrestling skillsets and most versatile takedowns in the organization, insane cardio, goes for ground and pound, tries to at least to go for submissions, but lacks the last touch there.

Whereas Belal at his worst just hugs his opponents against the cage. In his last three fights he has shown better hands standing and more aggressive wrestling, still most of the time it looks he is not even trying to finish the fight.

3 totally different fighters.

Anyone who reaches the top of the tree deserves respect regardless of their style.

Sloppy brawlers don't become champions.

They're hard workers who will not give up the belt without a fight, like Sean&Leon. Looking forward to watch them defend and get KTFO by more exciting fighters in brutal wars.

Pantonja is just tiny without the physicality to hurt people (like most of his division). The other two are point fighters through and through.

Wish judges quit giving so much credit to crotch sniffers. Sure they may hold and sniff most of the round, but if no damage is done, then the crotch sniffing shouldn't trump any actual damage done by strikes. Say fighter A lands some huge strikes but then fighter B goes for the crotch sniff for 4 mins of the round without any damage from g'n'p then the judges should give the round to fighter A which did the most damage.

All three of them are the guys who fight everyone infront of them and never complain.

All three are very worthy champions despite the fact they are more predicable than most champions.

Pantoja of the three is the worst relative to his division, Merab is much better than the fighters in his division, Pantoja should have lost to royval but won via lay and pray. He also lay and prayed on moreno

I prefer that to the O'Malley, Jamal Hill or Eddie Alvarez, and other fighters we all knew were not the best in their weight classes
keep eddie out, he's a legend but yeah
