You'd think that the UFC would be really popular among rednecks and such. It's just an easy sell to that kind of person.

But I remember being stuck in Mississippi during Chuck vs Wanderlei and the closest bar showing it was over 2 hours away!

I didn't stream it as that would be illegal. And people in parts like that aren't making too much money so they're not gonna pay $60 for every PPV.

How are people in what encompasses like 60-70% of our country supposed to be UFC fans? Does the UFC basically just want 60% of the country to fuck off?

I think you're misunderstanding something.

To answer your question though: Fight Pass. Ya goof. Can't you order PPVs through UFC.tv?

and if you don't have Internet, then you're just shit outta luck.

Good question. Tv doesn't exist out here. Internet either. I have to travel into town for each post.

Honestly though. Wtf kind of question is this. Can't afford ppvs. Lmao. Don't make much out here? Ok. And let's ignore the cost of living. God damn. You have to be trolling or city people are really Fucking stupid.

america is over 50% urbanized and it is even greater if you include "rural" suburbs. so i do not know what this 60-70% you are talking about. as for bars not having UFC, i live in a farily nice liberal suburb on the west coast and it is hard to find bars that show UFC around here as well. t

he UFC charges bars extreme amounts to show live events and it is hardly worth it unless you are a hooters/bww type establishment.

Prohibition has been particularly rough on them.

You think that's bad, we don't even have cars in Texas. If you want to get somewhere, you better know your way around a horse.

i hope this is a troll-job because if it isn't either you write your name with a crayon or the education system has failed you miserably.

Rural areas still get internet access. These days they have things called satellites, where they can broadcast tv stations to pretty much any part of the world as well as internet signals. It's like they've got these little satellites floating around the earth just broadcasting to everyone that has a receiver.

Crazy what we've done in the new millennium, right?

In America, poor people like drinking beer and violence. UFC is beer and bleeding. Easy. Sell.

Poor people like beer and violence everywhere.

Carlsberg and soccer riots in England

Singha and Muay Thai in Thailand

Tecate and drug cartels in Mexico.

Is normal.

All this.
I'm city based, but travel a lot... I use Fight pass, and I also stream a PPV every month or so via UFC TV, sometimes I watch while waiting for a flight.

There is such a thing as legal streaming...so as long as you have 4G and a high data plan, that's all you really need.

reminds me of when people from LA drive half an hour into the suburbs and put on hiking adventure gear like there are wild elephants in castaic

The fuck are you talking about? 80% of the population is from urbanized areas. You think there's another 70% left? For those who are fans, both cable television and the internet exist and often friends that chip in to make the thing like 10 bucks each. If you are just shit poor in a rural area and have no friends, you probably have other things to worry about besides who won the goddamn Liddel/Wand fight.
