how do i turn off images and gifs?

if you go to the "preferences" tab in your profile, you can turn off avatars.

re images, I think that was an option under the old software but I don't see that setting on the current setup. Alternatively, you should be able to turn off images via your browser.

i know about avatars

but i want to turn off images cause people post some nasty shit that quite franky trigger me
