What happens to the people who don’t have healthcare in America?

Not really sure or understand how your health system works there. If someone was to get coronavirus but didn’t have healthcare they wouldn’t just be left to die at home would they?

What happens to the people who don’t have healthcare in America?

Not really sure or understand how your health system works there. If someone was to get coronavirus but didn’t have healthcare they wouldn’t just be left to die at home would they?

They would be treated. If they are low enough income, a social worker or someone would help them sign up for government subsidized healthcare. If they are not low enough income for that, they will have to work with the hospital after their stay. Some people can get the hospital to write off most or all of their bill.
