How did this fighter get in to sherdog?

Few years back there were some absolutely ridiculous names in the fight finder. My guess is they were used to pad guys records
 
They all look alike, sherdog just didn't know which one

I am not sure, I thought maybe it was a punch in the back of the head but then again this is the 1999. So it should be no rules.

Fuck i always think shannon ritch is the black dude that knocked out matt serra with a spinning backfist before i remember hes actually this tatted white guy that i may have never seen fight

I remember this pic!!!

But I thought his nickname was the "fat guy" and I assumed he had a first and last name attached to it. So what's the deal? Are they like John Kopernhaver were they now have a nickname as a legal name?

Fight Finder takes whatever information they get from promoters and managers and puts that into the system. I forget the story of Fat Guy but I think Jordan Breen discussed it on Inside Press Row one time.

I would love to know the story of the "Fat Guy" and now that I think about it. I remember in the wikipidea that one of Frank Shamrocks opponent was named the "Kick-boxer" and after I checked it turned out to be Yuki Kondo. That was the first time there was a weird name.

What is the craziest thing on that fight finder is out of all of his 135 fights, only 5 went past the first round and those ended in the 2nd round.

Jesus... he won by rear naked in 20 s in the first round. How do you even sink it in that fast?
