How did Shogun solve Machida's style?

Pressure/moving forward.

Every fighter that has ever pressured Machida has tagged him

If you rush forward on Machida, he back peddles with his hands down. The fighter usually stops at that point. Shogon chased down and hit him every time.

I think Machida is the worst guy I've seen when it comes to someone pressuring him and I see Hendo being able to do the same thing Rua did.

with this being said, Machida has made major improvement with his style. As seen in the past, he lost terrible when being pressure as Shogun and Rampage has done. Now if you try to rush forward, you would eat a KO strike from Machida, as seen in the Jones and Bader fight.

Good chin, pressure, timing, and reviewing tape to see what Machida does in certain situations. Nobody else has had the right combination of each (besides Jones, who has the nasty wrestling game/GnP to make up for any shortcomings in those areas).
