Can somebody explain this to me? I think she is huge but has she passed those that have been at the top for years?
 
Aldo isn't a star.

She has boobies and fights. The media likes to make a big deal of that.
 
Because Dana said so... so she is now the biggest star ufc ever had..just accept it.

GSP retired, and Anderson lost. Dana is just looking to build his next cash cow. A retired GSP and a broken down Silva will be bigger stars than Ronda on her finest day.

Look at Aldo's PPV numbers when he's headlining a card. He doesn't sell. P4P top fighter, but he doesn't sell, thus not a top star.

And the media loved Rhonda before she got to the UFC, it was just greatly amplified when they added WMMA.
 
Aldo is the exact opposite of a star. He is a PPV liability. One of the only elite fighters in this company that could headline a ppv and rake in less than 200,000 ppv buys.

Who cares about Anderson and GSP, I want to know how she's a bigger star then Brock Lesnar?

People who don't even know what MMA is know who Brock Lesnar is.
 
She is the only champion that has 0 challenges in her division.

Therefore they won't be pumping in money to hype her up and have her lose.

Because silva n gsp are retired. Aldo isnt known to casual fans. And Ronda is a blonde haired woman champ w boobs who is a cross over movie star and womans mma is new to most casual fans so its the flavor of the month/year.

Aldo is a black hole of charisma, so Ronda has been a bigger star since she posed nude before UFC.
 
The casual fans don't know/care who Aldo is. I was at Hooters watching 168 & I was really surprised how into the Ronda vs tate the crowd was. Almost everyone in the place was cheering during that fight. Most were for Ronda but there were a few haters there too & they were loud. Next to Lesnar that was the most I had ever seen a crowd in a sports bar into an MMA fight.
 
I ordered I don't know how many consecutive GSP & Anderson PPV's. I would be more likely to order an Aldo PPV than Ronda PPV, but haven't really aside from the ones Aldo was on with GSP or someone else good.
