I need opinions from Sherbros.

I was so adrenaline pumped the whole match that i didn't really pay attention to every detail. All i saw was OSP eating leg kicks and elbows. Jones got three nice takedowns as well. Did not look bad at all in my opinion. That being said its been such a long time since he last fought that i have forgotten how this legendary '100% Jones' fights

He was tentative and in his own head. He himself wasn't happy with it.

Only Jon Jones could dominate a top 10 LHW like that and get heavily criticized for his performance. His excellence in the past has put expectations ridiculously high.

He didn't entirely dominate and finish a legit top 10 lhw...who is this guy anymore

Bones wasn't terrible. The thing is it takes two to tango and OSP seemed to be just as hesitant as Bones.

Seeing as he has been out for over a year and has been arrested a few times.. you gotta cut Bones some slack.

He was coming off an 18 month layoff and was prepared game plan wise and psychologically to fight his most hated opponent. OSP is a totally different opponent in every way and you could tell Jones wasn't focused on him, nor was there any bad blood there. It's impressive in itself that an 18 month layoff followed by a total domination of a completely different top 8 fighter on short notice is considered underwhelming by his standards.

I just thought he looked a little tentative is all. Still, OSP is a dangerous man and he completely shut him out.

He didn't look terrible but he didn't look like himself. Just dominating OSP is not enough for a guy like Jones, even Bader could do that.

50-44, 50-45, and 50-45 is dominant.

People just thought he would finish... me included. Guys his own size give him some issues.

He didn't. But anything short of a devastating win would have been a disappointment for many in his big return

Because he is overrated and can only beat up MWs and LHWs that are much smaller than him. When he fights guys even in the ballpark of his size he doesn't look good. There is a reason why Jones said he didn't want to fight big HWs.

Because Sherdog has the fight I.Q. of a 5 year old.

Regardless of how many wisely disregard MMAth they still all use it when predicting outcomes.

I said it from the get go. OSP is more athletic than Jones just always lacked world class coaching and sparring partners to develop high level fight IQ but he's a tough fight. Doesn't matter how many takedowns he gave to Bader or Glover. Styles make the fight.

Yea i dont know he just looked a little rusty other than that same old bones.

he was very gun shy. i feel like DC would have beat this version of Jon. i don't expect this version to show up against DC though. he was just a bit rusty i'm sure he'll be fine.
