I would guess Brock isn't very well trained at avoiding PED tests compared to say cyclists or people in athletics. The previous UFC testing he got past was pretty easy and just ment you needed to cycle on and off at the right time whilst the WWE testing if it did anything was likely more about making sure people weren't going on the rails on painkillers or recreational drugs.
I think Armstrong is a piece of shit (not fighter bashing!) but he never got caught, never tested positive, was FORCED to admit guilt.
How did he get caught? He literally gave no shits if he was caught. I'm sure he figured he'd come back for one fight only, make a few million dollars, and then go back to his part time wwe gig where he makes a few million more each year for very part time work. Does he care about being suspended for two years? Nope. He doesn't plan on fighting again. They can't suspend him from wwe lol. If the wwe fans boo him does he care? Nop3. His character is pretty much a bad guy in that world anyway. He can insult the fans, laugh about it and then continue to be one of their biggest stars. I read that they already had his opponent work it into a storyline. Brock gave no shits. Even if he is fined he will still make good money for the Hunt fight, and The WWE will probably find a way to make money off of it with the extra publicity. Brock is a bigger star now than he was before the Hunt fight. He will be laughing all the way to the bank.
I'm just glad the insane notion of Brock not being on steroids has been debunked. For all intents and purposes, it raised the overall awareness of average MMA fans.
Check out the conte interview with rogan...the testers are now ahead of the cheaters , big pharma even informs testers of upcomming potential peds !
Lance only got caught because of that time when he was in hospital and admitted in front of a teammates wife that he had pretty much taken every PED known to man. He then tried to ruin her life and keep her quiet and she eventually won and the truth came out!
Here's my best guess, based on what we know: -Brock got the USADA exemption, which meant that he could train for a while without being tested -When the testing was going to start, he knew he had to cycle off, and so his first tests came back clean -After being tested so quickly after the exemption, he figured he was in the clear and tried to sneak something by -He gets tested at the exact right time and gets popped for something -Tests negative again after one positive test - his system/cycle is working properly and USADA doesn't catch him at the right moment again That's my best guess, anyway. Hopefully we learn more soon.
Bork just didn't care. He gets a percentage of his purse taken away and it really is no big deal because of how much he made off his PPV points. Goes back to the WWE and keeps peeeowing:
