    Simple Philip was moving back and didn't have his feet firmly planted on the ground so it took a lot of power off. It was mostly an arm punch. If he was firmly planted that would have looked like a "bus driver uppercut".

    I can only imagine that Costa didn't have time to plant properly and was still moving back so the power generated was less than it would have been.

    Tyson is moving backwards on his gif, but Tyson wasn't human.
