I wish I could go to a party, I'm missing human interaction that isn't other half or colleagues. I would likely overdo the happy puppy hugging everyone and be shunned for future get togethers.

Depends on the situation and mood. I have been told by some people I am wallflower, and my wife gives me shit for being antisocial. But I have been told by other that I stand out and am incredibly personable.
