Also pause at 29 seconds to see a epic Joe Rogan stare :)

I like the fight. But still would of preferred RDA.

Please be fit, Diaz. I want this to be a good fight...

If this fight doesn't excite you, I dint know what will

I'm a little disappointed to be honest.

McGregor-Diaz is not half the fight that was scheduled.

RDA had the potential to be tough match up for Conor (who knows whether it would have been or not). This fight is not going to be as good and I envisage a bit of a walk over for McG. Gutted

Because I don't care for fights till both fighters are in the octagon

And style wise this fight isn't all that great or competitive

I bet 80% of you are all going to complain right after

I am excited. But I fear Diaz will not be ready. Also I would have loved to see the buildup for this one. It will definitely be exciting though.

Super bummed when RDA pulled out with the injury, was meh when I figured it'd be Nate, but now I'm pretty hyped up for this. I really think Nate has a good shot in this fight, I just really hope the short notice isn't gonna mess him up too bad.

This will be a crazy fight for many reasons, but an interesting fact about Diaz: he has only been finished once in the UFC and he's been fighting since early 2007. This is a 5 round fight and I'm sure there will be a finish, so I'm excited to see how it ends.

+ there will be no humping and lots of taunting

Has a Diaz ever gassed badly in a fight? I think we see Connors gastank and heart tested this fight.

Ìts a good fight the right call was to have this at 170. Nate can now train and not worry about a weigh cut.

Nate is a durable fighter he only been stopped one time in 28 fights. He beat Cerrone and RDA only beat him by decision. Anything can happen in a fight.

Not that I can recall, but its only 10 days notice. Who knows how much he has been training, what hes been eating. Very tight turn around.

I share the same concerns.

And Full-Camp Nate was begotten unto the world...

a lot of things to take into consideration, I think his cardio will be fine, Hopefully he's motivated to get the win and not just a juicy paycheck.

if this was setup from the beginning i would be happy
fights on short notica are always questionable
will still watch

I'm just as hyped about the weight limit as I am about the opponent. I can't wait to see how Conor looks at WW.

Yes, it's a known fact that fans prefer clashes of trolls over serious technical fights.

This is the problem in this scenario. Because it's sort of precedent setting, there won't be a shortage of fighters who just aren't going to come into this as hungry as normal when they know they've got a truck-load of (vegan) cheese waiting for them after the fight.

On the flipside, this is a great chance for the UFC to placate some fighters who have griped in the past - "have a RPN; we good now?" kind of a thing.
