How can we tell if a UFC fighter is in his prime?

you're in your prime until you lose. then you're washed up. even at 25.

If a fighter fought in Japan, they are out of their price as soon as they get in the UFC.

Prime... on a winning streak.

Past Prime… just lost first fight in years and getting crapped on on the internet.

Is the fighter winning?
Yes : Prime
No: Garbage , Can , never really was that good.
its not as exciting when you figure this out, but it makes it easy to know what to say if you want some free likes

those who can look a little broader will notice that this is the whole way media works - read espn or whatever, it follows the same gameplan - and this is what people read in order to be 'informed' in the world ha

Good try buddy but you just missed it. Ask your teacher to help you tomorrow at school.

Keep being proud of your ignorance, you'll go places!
You’re such a fucking clown
You assumed I didn’t read a post and got your panties all bunched up
Point out for me where I said I didn’t read the OP, genius
I said it needed cliffs
Tell me, one last time, how smart you are again
I’m guessing it did move

Prime is only established in hindsight for people like us to talk about on messageboards

This. There's a point where you see a fighter is no longer improving and has just started to decline. Then you know that a short time previously was his prime (for better or for worse)

I think I touched a nerve. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.

I apologise

Easy, just cut him open and count the number of rings

Jose Pele Landi was in his prime when he destroyed Hughes and Miletich. Then he was out of his prime the minute he entered the Pride ring and lost to Matsui.

Chuck was in his prime until he fought guys like Rampage and Shogun.

Anderson Silva suddenly entered his prime the instant he left Japan.
