be "out of prime" at 30 years old? This makes no logical sense. You can be the most talented, and be "out of prime" by age 30. Why?

Because, talent is a function of biology. Due to some random genetic variation and the right environment, an MMA fighter can just have better recovery, more KO power, and other physical attributes with minimal training.

Skills is what is developed through the right discipline, dedication and determination. It is what allows the real GOATs to prolong their careers further than the average 3 years for most physical demanding sports, while competing at the highest level.

Therefore, saying that Fighter A is the most skilled ever, but unfortunately, he was out of his prime at age 30, when most great athletes are still conquering at the highest level, is contradictory.

It would make more sense to be the most talented and be "out of prime" at age 30, due to eating too much ice cream, focusing more on acting and other activities that don't directly improve fighting skills and etc. This makes sense.

If you are "out of prime" by age 30, short of a catastrophic injury, you are definitely not the most skilled. This is common sense for those who pay attention, and have a reasonable understanding of sports. LOL

If you are just a Beta Nerd who misses the "good ole PRIDE FC days," then I guess, I kinda get were you coming from. LOL

- shit av
- shit poster
- shit threads
- shit name

why are you wasting your time?

ps: maybe you can explain me, why a 30/32 y/o "Casillas" (soccer) sucked some dicks and why "Buffon" is still top 3-5 at the age of 38/40.

If you're talking about Aldo, he's been fighting for a loooong time bro. How many times do we have to repeat it : it's not about age, it's about mileage.

It's not about age, it's about mileage.

Where’s this 30 yrs old = Out of prime nonsense coming from ?

Who has EVER even said that ? You just pulled that shit out of your ass, right ?

Smarten the fuck up. Because just off the top of my head. I have at least 10 fighters that became/were champs after the age of 30. And, there’s likely many many more.

Massive troll, or what ?

Seriously...

Wow, not everyone ages at the same rate? Not everyone's body is 100% exactly the same?

Huge if true!!!

Its not about age. Its about mileage.

...look up Stephen A. Smith

It’s not about mage, it’s about aileage.

You know the most skilled female gymnast is out of her prime at like 16 yrs old right?

It could be multiple reasons why a fighter isn't as good as he was yesteryear , age , psychologically not as hungry as he was , injuries , USADA ( cough cough Silva , Henderson , Belfort , Jones , Barao ) or he was defeated in such a devastating fashion that it psychologically defeats him.

In this game known as fighting you have to be the most important of all mentally strong ..... if you're that and still physically fit than you'll still do alright , but as it's being said multiple times on this thread it's mileage.

I mean for example the GOAT Fedor .... the man was undefeated for 10 fucking years !!! ( unheard of at that time , most fighters don't have careers as long as that , let alone being undefeated for that long in a division full of giant men ) he was eventually going to lose because of the pile up of injuries , in ring wars , sparring , training , and more importantly biological aging ( father time is the undefeated goat ) ..... no one lasts forever in the fight game.

Man... I knew you'd make it in life one day.

Way to expose the truth with this well-written post.

No more living in the basement for you dawg, you're moving up now, gonna spend some more quality time with your mom.

And don't mind the haters here, they are all beta males, they don't have the capacity to even begin comprehending you alfa energy.

And those MMA fighters losing at 30 ? Are they for real ?

I mean, you could probably get up right now, dust off the Cheetos and beat most of these overrated can crushers.

You the man!
