    Wtf is going on?

How is it possible Jon Jones acting like this over Khabib asking to be called the greatest?

How is the second greatest fighter (haha) of all time this worried about a dude getting some shine when he retires? Especially Khabib. Read the room dude but first what is going on how is he this fragile? He's Jon Jones.

for the same reason he takes PEDs for a living, he has no confidence in himself.

And honestly, when you have to argue hours for people to respect you, it aint a good look.

GSP did it best, he was respectful, and we all know he is the MMA GOAT no need for him to sold himself like he is on a job interview.

Jones despite being one of the best ever, is a huge narcissist and super sensitive dude when you challenge his ego.

Theres a reason this dude has been caught taking PEDs numerous times.

It's called narcissism. It's just how he is. He feels he is the best, and believes everyone else should feel the same. He's genuinely hurt and offended if someone expresses otherwise.

Same reason why Trump is always tweeting about how he is the best at everything. Narcissistic personality disorder. Interestingly, a lot of extreme narcissists tend to be very successful in life (or at least successful in terms of career/money/power. Not so much in personal relationships).

Another reason why MMA as a sport is such bush-league non-sense at times.

You can see the comments under his tweets, you can probably guess why he does this. Everyone reminded him the truths that Adesanya was reminding him for some time now.

He wants to be liked too much.

People don't like him, he should just play into being the heel instead of the victim act. It'd make him a lot more money. Floyd had the same issue of wanting to be liked at one point.

All these top athletes are like that. Michael Jordan would make up other players dissing him and use it to motivate him or make him look sympathetic. And he was a dick to practically everyone on his team.

Is this news? Jones' fragile ego has been evident throughout his career. It's why a fighter as talented as him felt the need to cheat time and time again, even when he got caught he tried to keep that up. And since then he tries to play it down like it's no big deal or it didn't even happen cause admitting to it would mean sacrificing this narcissistic idea that he actually ever was the best. He keeps tumbling back and forth between trying to get people to like him cause he wants their praise and spiting everyone cause he can't take the fact that there are some critics among them. Same as when fighters criticize him, doesn't matter if it's a weight class above or 4 weight classes down, he'll trash talk anyone who doesn't praise him as the GOAT or dares to challenge him in any way, not leaving out a chance to proclaim himself the best ever.

With everything he screws up, he goes through the same cycle of first saying he needs to become a better man, then sweep it under the rug like it never happened, and eventually present some unheard excuse months or even years later to try and tell us he didn't do anything wrong in the first place.

Remember when he outright admitted to drinking or doing coke somewhere about a week before his fights, stating he did it cause he wanted a safety net to fall back on in case he lost? I mean, didn't take a lot to figure that out when he used it as an excuse for why the Gus fight got so close he should've lost, but he later went on to say it out loud himself.

So yeah, there's nothing more difficult in the world for Jon Jones than hearing that someone is better than him. Except maybe for having to admit someone's better than him by himself.
