How can I get back in shape ?

What are some good ideas on getting back in shape for a tournament being held 7-1-06 ? Basically i broke my shoulder a couple weeks ago and I just recently have been starting to roll around but i get gassed out real quick, should I sart jogging, tredmil, jog in place or just bjj ? Please if anyone has any good tips let me know.
 
Honestly, skip it first since you need to prepare two months in advance for a tourney
 
Yeah, that sounds like a pretty bad injury. You might want to skip this one.
 
aside from your shoulder injury, i think for grappling one of the best things you could do for conditioning is do the age-old repeated rounds with fresh people thing. im sure youve done it in your gym, where you roll with one person for a set amount of time, then immediately move to a fresh person, and so on.

most of the time when we do this at my gym, we end up rolling for 15-20 minutes straight, when youre "in the middle." awesome conditioning drill. tweak it so you end up going for the amount of time your match is set at, ie your match is ten minutes, roll with 4 fresh people for 3 minutes each.

again, i also think that this tourny is a bad idea for you since youre still getting back into the groove. just open ended advice for the future.
 
while your shoulder is rehabbing start jogging. Add in sprint from light to light or block to block and you will begin to build a good cardio base. Nothing will build cardio like distance running
