How can Conor beat Diaz in a rematch? The answer is in front of your eyes, stop thinking to much.

"I was winning the 1 mile race for the first 400 meters" says the frontrunner who finished last because he shot his wad.

Conor CAN win, I just don't think his chances are good.

If Diaz comes in shape and ready like he did against MJ, I don't see Conor having anything more than a puncher's chance.

The first round was close but Conor took a lot of punishment, if he has another first round like that he'll lose again.

Energy Efficient Conor will win this time around. Please UFC, setup solar panels on Conor's shorts!!!

I think Conor needs to pace himself, and choose his shots wisely.

Not a Conor fan here but why is everyone having a hard time thinking how can CM beat Diaz in a rematch. You guys are not practical, you guys love all this theoretical bullshit...Just keep it simple guys. How can he beat him? Exactly how he clearly beat him in the first round maybe??? Why is this a mystery?

Now you will probably will claim that Conor can't fight like that for more rounds.. well that's what we saw that's true... Can he improve his Cardio by other means than just fighting at 15 pounds less? Maybe... We don't know. Did Diaz really was fighting easy (according to him) during that round? Maybe... You see how many "maybe".. Lets keep it simple. He beat him in the first round (so that strategy works) whatever the reasons I don't care he beat him in the first round and gassed. He already know how to fucking beat him... so why not just work in his Cardio?

Conor landed 5 more significant punches than Diaz in the first round.. his "success" is greatly overblown by casuals not realizing that Diaz has so much scar tissue on his face that a wet tea towel could cut him open. Oh and don't forget...

And if you listen to his interview, he re-opened a cut from the Johnson fight.

Fact remains, Conor threw everything he had a Diaz, who was warming up and finding his range, and also seeing what Conor would be coming with. Diaz played it cool the first round, then started up in the 2nd round. Even if Conor gains more cardio to fight, Diaz will still land on him once Diaz gets going, and probably the same result. Conor might last until the 3rd or 4th round this time, but Diaz will be pressuring him hard once the 2nd round hits.

Conor will either need to land that 1 shot KO or he's going to lose. Conor does not have the cardio to out-punch Diaz in any situation. He might have the cardio to last 5 round if Diaz never threw a punch, but Diaz will be throwing plenty, working the body and pressuring the whole time. He will wear Conor down again and finish him.

He clearly won the 1st round. Stop being denial.
He's not in denial. Conor did win the first round...

You know who is in denial? Conor fans who say he "dominated the 1st round" and say it should've been a 10-8 or 10-7 round... He won the round, but it was a lot closer than any of you delusional fans want to give credit for.

full camp Diaz knocks Mcgregor out imo
9 days notice Diaz would've knocked him out as well, had Conor not went full pussy mode and shot like a panicked wrestler. Maybe this time around he'll stay on his feet instead of shooting?

Fucking throw some leg kicks...and don't get them caught. See the Cowboy fight when Donald finally decided to chop the lead leg after eating a couple hundred punches.

You're not embracing the future sir!

Much like Rory was the 1st son raised in MMA not some silly individual style - the new breed of poster IS being raised, cared for and taught by Mama Sherdog!
hahhaha that was good!

He punched himself out in the first so he gassed in the second. That's the obvious part.

I bet you 1000 right now that I read a lot more than you but in my own language.
Before I posted, I actually checked your profile to see what country you were repping. Either I need to visit rif.org or I it's not there.

No worries. It's not a requirement, but I just wanted you to know I wouldn't have clowned your English if I knew you weren't from the U.S. or some other primarily English speaking country.

I give you a pass if English is not your first language. Actually your English is better than about 90% of what I see on the Internet.

Peace.
