It seems like her best weapon is her stand-up game but man is hard for me to see somebody beating Valentina at stand-up right now. Not even the 145lbs champ selfproclaimed GWOAT could do sh7t to Valentina at stand-up

So what are Alexa's best chances to win? Best strategy?

Some ppl think the way to beat Valentina is on the ground but Valentina is also very good on the ground, idk if Alexa's ground game is good enough. Valentina has taken every single one of her oponnents down (incluiding the 135lbs girls) and most of her finishes in the UFC have been on the ground.

So what do you guys think?

She just can't . Hypothetically a ko or sub obviously definitely not a decision

I like Alexa but she hasn't really developed like I thought she would when I first saw her in Invicta. She fights similar to Shev but isn't as good anywhere. Bullet will just be too strong for her.

I'll probably turn it off after the Bo Nickal fight anyway.

There is absolutely no way Alexa wins this fight.
She has the wrong skillset to beat Val.
Her boxing is very good, probably the best in the division but there is no way anyone beats Val in striking.
Joanna who is a kickboxing world cahmpion was only able to win 1 round.

I'll actually try here.

I think Grasso's best shot is to stay in boxing range and make this a boxing match. Pressure Val try to make it ugly.

Try to mix in some takedowns. Valentina's is really the best a making it back to here feet once she is taken down.

There is a lot of tape on Val... Grasso should be drilling to counter all of Val's go to moves.

Only chance is pressure and staying in boxing range.

You ever see the Michael Johnson vs Edson Barboza fight? Maybe something like that.

Highly improbable though. I think Val cruises to a UD. But a Grasso win wouldn't even be in like the top five biggest WMMA upsets, so who knows?

After watching Santos fight Shevchenko, I feel Shevchenko is definitely beatable (I actually scored it for Santos). However, I don't see Grasso winning. I feel she deserves the shot, but I feel Blanchfield and Santos are bigger threats.

Grasso has 2 paths to victory.

Shevchenko commits a very blatant foul and gets DQ'd.

Shevchenko injures herself during the fight.

Both are very low probability.

It's a nearly impossible matchup for Grasso. All she can do is hope and pray that age and injuries are suddenly catching up to Val, given that she is coming off of her worst performance and this fight takes place a few days before her 35th birthday.... But even a Shevchenko in decline should be able to take care of business fairly easily.
