The mainstream media is constantly talking about how fractured the Republican party is… It's laughable actually. Last time I checked no Republican in a primary has ever received more votes than Trump has and we are not even finished yet. Also let's add to the fact that in a field of 17, Trump will still get over the 50% required.

Meanwhile there is a civil war going on in the Democrats party, unable to choose between an elderly socialist who aspires to raise everyone's taxes, or a criminal under investigation by the FBI. Crooked Hillary's allies in the establishment even spit in the faces of crazy Bernie's supporters at the Nevada caucus by openly rigging the election.

It's going to be a great sight to behold watching the upgraded Republican National Convention with a responsible nomination process, entertaining for all the right reasons. Then contrast that a week later the Democrat's National Convention will be all-out chaos with Crooked Hillary Clinton sealing the nomination with the corrupt super-delegates, entertaining us with riots…I wonder who the independents will choose after witnessing the epic collapse.

You are going to be disappointed. Clinton will have more then enough delegates before the convention and Sanders will be looking to make sure the party is coming together.

Inb4 a certain vicious poster sees someone saying something bad things about Hillary and rushes to her aid with long winded asides about how he doesn't really like her that much...

Honestly though, I think you'll be let down. It'll go relatively smoothly.

This is what you get when a biased person writes something with a goal of scoring political points, instead of looking honestly at the reality of the situation.

In reality:

The Republican Party is fractured, the Democratic Party is not.

"Fractures" are not determined by closeness of a race. It's determined by strong disagreement in ideologies.
In 2008 the Democratic Party had a very close primary. There was no talk of fracturing and no battling afterwards. Why? Because the candidates didn't represent 2 distinct ideologies. They simply got a reasonably close amount of votes.
The Republican Party has completely different, in fact contradictory in many cases, ideologies that it is trying to bundle up into one Party. The Democratic Party does not.

The Republican Party had numerous major figures come out against their eventual nominee. They tried everything in their power to keep him from winning, because they hate him, in spite of the 'happy mask' they're going to put on, now that there's nothing they can do about it. (In fact they hated the guy who came in 2nd, too.) That's what a party with deep divisions looks like.

This is like a bipolar 360 in real time. For like the past 6 months or so the Republicans have been trying to smear Trump as hard as they can without succeeding. They even went to great lengths to consider blocking Trump’s nomination. If you consider this being united well, good for you lol. ,

Serious wishful thinking. The Dem primary has been remarkably clean, and the loser will support the nominee. There's always the possibility of a small percentage of unhinged Bernie supporters starting shit at the convention though. A few of his followers are completely nuts. But that doesn't speak to the state of the party, it speaks to the state of crazy people. See Ron Paul's campaign for details. That didn't say much about the republican party.

Hillary had best watch out for actual sniper fire now though. There are a lot of violent, hateful people lining up against her, and violence is a serious possibility in a climate of violent populist rhetoric.

Hey... So, out of all the candidates on the field, would you say Hillary is the one who is most likely to face violence? ;)

Not sure. I think both candidates better have their security game on point. Trump is also risking his own safety with his violent talk.

I don't think you get what I mean… You are defining the party as the establishment. The party is the people, the people will be rioting, not the establishment. The majority of Republicans want Trump and the rest realize it's either him or Hillary. Only the establishment is trying to stop him now… But theey have no support.

Bernie's supporters actually believe he has a chance of being nominated and have watched earned delegates get stripped away and superdelegates deciding on the nominee before the people have even voted. Both systems are rigged but Trump got enough to override the establishments control, Hillary won't. She will need the superdelegates no matter what. Sanders supporters are going to descend on the Democrats convention thinking that the superdelegates will actually give crazy Bernie a shot to make his case, which is legitimate, that his polling is better against Trump than her. But they will not choose him because he is a socialist, at the same time though they are trying to pretend like he has a shot so they don't alienate his voters. You'll see, supporters of Sanders don't care about putting the party's best interest first… In their eyes Sanders is their only Savior, and Hillary and Trump are the same There is a big disconnect between the establishment and the people. Get ready for great entertainment!
