How are the Irish and UK Mayberries coping with the weather?

You're about 4 days late on this buddy

I've just got back from the hospital which i drove to,and i don't intend on going out again till all this shit has fucked off. i hate snow.

On the plus side i got the day of work. On the other hand I'm trying to get in shape and there's no way in hell I'm going out running in that.

When I lived in the UK it snowed once and I had to leave my car abandoned in the middle of the road and walk home. It was borderline apocalyptic. Snow melted a couple hours later though so I got the car back fine

Got any gym equipment at home?[/QUOTE]

I've got a barbell and a bunch of weights in my yard which is about a foot deep in snow. lately Ive been mostly working on cardio and bodyweight stuff (my local park has a set of parallel bars and a pull up bar)

Fairly cold but haven't experienced much disruption up here.

my wife left work over 2 hours ago,and she's still not home.

We're tucked up watching TV, on the beer. Got about half a foot here and snow storms forecast for the next 8 hrs.

Kept the kids back from nursery. My road doesn't get gritted so we ain't going nowhere, 4x4 died this winter and replaced it with an electric car at wife's behest... Let Sigh.

Went to the shop earlier and there were bare shelves. Football practice is cancelled on Sunday.

Basically this country doesn't get any particular weather consistently so it's not worth provision against this shit. It's a once in 50yrs thing.

the beast from the east has destroyed us

Not even that much snow round here and everything has ground to halt and the shelves have been decimated at the supermarkets <45>
