Luke Rockhold really wants a rematch with Vitor badly, but who doesn't? Its pretty clear he want to avenge that embarrassing loss.

Anyways, I just think Vitor deserves to fight for title after Weidman vs. Machida. He earned it, even though he used TRT.

So I think it's the right time to do Rockhold vs. Souza 2. Both looked impressive in their last fights. The winner gets a step closer to fight for the title or fight the champ next(After Vitor) depending on how impressive or dominant the victory would be.

    your thoughts?

    currently none.

Last time I read an article about him he said he wanted to fight for the title or Vitor.
I don't know if Dana put a bounty on Vitor, everybody wants his head especially now that he is not using TRT anymore.

Non-trt vitor is still dangerous at any given moment.

yup, especially in the early rounds, excluding the Anderson fight.

The first fight was very close, but Rockhard rightfully edged it out. Jacare has shown improved striking since and has looked great. I'd probably still pick Rockhard though. He's got the slight advantage stylistically, imo.

yayyy another sherdogger wanting another rematch!!

id rather not, even though it sorta makes sense... i guess. maybe a mousasi rematch if he beats munoz. or maybe camozzi if he wins. or carmont, regardless.

ok serious now. jacare should face vitor, def for a brazil card. it makes sense right now. he was strikeforce champ, defended his title, lost it, now is on a 6 fight win streak with top 10 guys. this is for a title shot, obviously. i dont think either guy would want it right now, but suck it the hell up. ur both brazilian, so what. they are on different teams (although im guessing they prob trained together before).

why have a rematch when there are plenty of guys neither have faced. also, im not so sure rockhold deserves jacare at this point. romero is another interesting one, but marketing wise, doesnt make sense for ufc. ALTHOUGH, ufc hasss been doing some wierd lately.... soo

    Jacare vs Vitor
    Jacare vs Rockhold
    Jacare vs Romero
    Jacare vs Kennedy
    Jacare vs Munoz/Mousasi winner.

    in that order

Jacare vs Vitor... is good also but I think Vitor won't fight anyone if it's not for the belt.

Jacare vs Rockhold. my choice obviously, a solid win against Rockhold can make him the new number 1 contender.

Jacare vs Romero... A lot of hype behind Romero, would love see him against Kennedy

Jacare vs Kennedy. same with Romero.

Jacare vs Munoz/Mousasi winner... I know Mousasi just fought Machida and a former champ but I just think this is a step down for Jacare,Jacare is on a solid winning streak and WHAT IF Munoz won? Would love to see Mousasi vs. Jacare though.

I'd like Jacare vs. Romero and Rockhold vs. Mousasi if he wins.

Jacare rematch is a good bout. Jacare is the highest ranked MW contender I think Rockhold will have any chance of beating. Unfortunately for Rockhold the top of the division outside Weidman are elite strikers which are far too much for Rockholds skill set.

Jacare potentially keeps the Rockhold hype train rolling towards a title fight [Which he would inevitably lose to Weidman].

I haven't rewatched their first fight, but it seemed like Jacare lost interest/cardio after the first 2 rounds, and kind of coasted, while Rockhold threw a lot of flashy kicks which didn't do much damage. I thought it was a close decision. I agree that both guys have shown improvement/career highlights since that bout, and I would like to see a rematch at some point. I think Jacare could win this time.

If Jacare can redeem himself by avenging his loss against Rockhold in impressive fashion, he can instantly go in the front line for the titleshot.
