Would you recommend Joe Silva this fight? Personally,I'd be willing to pay some money to see this fight Discuss
I don't think it makes sense to risk losing Browne from ever being a contender again. But then again who knows.
So Browne gets his ass handed to him by Werdum...and then you want to give Browne a step up in competition? How does this even make sense? Let the guy get a win first at least.
JDS is in a hard situation. Clearly the 2nd best guy in the division but loses 66 percent of the time to the champ. He will derail possible contenders to Cain which makes him a conflict of interest to the UFC. With the UFC HW div being thin, he needs to take on mid tier guys coming off losses. Browne could be a viable match up to regain his credentials, but I think JDS finishes him. Wouldn't mind a JDS vs AA fight if he gets past Schaub.
JDS is coming off a loss to the champ, Browne is coming off a loss to the number one contender, it makes perfect sense to match them up.
Browne has alredy fought Reem, Big foot, Werdum and Barnett. The other HWs are pretty much irrelevant and the only big guy that is left to climb again for the title is junior.
Always interesting to see JDS play "how many bombs does it take to get to the knockout" against an iron chin. Wouldn't mind this. I like this more. Kinda makes more sense than JDS-Browne cause Browne would get a chance to rebuild some momentum, and Palelei would get a step up in competition.
