Having Fedor fight for the tittle right off the bat is probably not a good idea considering Fedor has three years of ring rust. The winner could fight for the tittle next.

    How about Fedor vs. Reem/Mir/Barnett/CroCop/Arlovski/Hunt?

If Fedor comes to UFC finally.. It will be a big name for sure. Mir, Overeem, Cain, Werdum, Jones.

That would be a big fight for Rothwell. I would pay to see it.

If there's a less profitable match for the UFC involving Fedor and a top-10 HW, I don't know what that match is.

Least interesting of all possible comeback fights TS.
Mir, Bigfoot, Arlovski, Reem, Hunt etc. are all more intriguing tune up fights.

I'd like to see where Fedor really is at....Fedor vs JDS would be a good gauge. It would also help to sell a Werdum Fighter no matter who wins.

That would be a tough fight to come back to.

  14. This guy gets it.

Emelianenko is an established name, and they'll only maximize his value by putting him against other established names.

Mir/Arlovski are fighting each other already, winner of that deserves a titleshot for sure.

Big Ben/Cro Cop/Reem could be the most reasonable first fight at this point.

And risk Rothwell landing one of those swinigng hams? My guess is Bigfoot; they can hype it even more because of the 1st fight.

    How about not.

Bigfoot is the best first fight.

Not necessarily so actually.. I don't think Rothwell is elite, but he's a great test for someone like Fedor who would be coming back from a long layoff. Plus Big Ben has strung together some wins (one was against the Reem) as of late which warrants some type of big fight for him as well.. This match-up could make sense to me.
