Economy House Passes Budget Resolution Cutting Billions From Medicaid Funding For 90 million Americans

Where does it say payouts to people whom qualify will be reduced

I just heard a diehard Trump Republican say Trump better figure out what to do with his diabetes medicine prices. The guy not a overweight but heavy smoker dude just a 60 something saying he was paying 12 dollars a month under Biden and now paying 74 dollars a month under Trump. He wants that sh#t addressed. I was trying to tell him he was f'd.lol

Sad story.

It's hard having a hero, then realising just how little you mean to them no matter how much support you've given.

I assume. I don't really have any heros lol

So far all I hear is panic by the left over any tighten of any thing.

If they are going after making the system more efficient and eliminate fraud it fine.

So they want some people on it to work some if they are able as one thing. I don't see the problem in that.

I would need a lot more information on what and where before I say good or bad. The article didn't give that.

Repubs could make the healthcare more efficient if they would actually come up with an actual plan for healthcare. I have yet to hear a single healthcare plan by Repubs. Yes, Repubs want to get rid of fraud and waste but wouldn't it be more efficient to create a healthcare plan?

Side note, I find it odd how people keep saying they want a system that is more efficient and goes after fraud led by one of the richest men in the world. That makes about as much sense as the Girl Scouts of America being led by Jeffrey Epstein.

This is just the budget proposal they still have to decide how to cut $880B from the agency that manages Medicare before signing it into law.

(They won't be able to do it)
Let’s say they end up finding 300 billion of savings without cutting payouts. Would we say this is a lot of money

To offset the 4.5T in tax cuts with the deficit is already over 1T? Not really. Even if they found all $880b it wouldn't be enough.

They won't cut Medicaid, the Senate is not that stupid. They'll add a work requirement to some aid and pretend like they've done something.

They can cut at least of the federal government and be just fine

No to a national single health care.

I agree more should be done by both sides.

It's fine having a business man and his team looking for fraud and waste. Then reporting to to be looked at and handled by the people supervising the programs.

It’s ok. It’s easier to cry about the Barbie Movie or rage bait Facebook memes about infinite genders.

Expecting Elon Musk to pay more in taxes instead of getting billions in federal handouts to decrease the debt is a bridge too far. That poor man has children to make and ignore so he can circle jerk on Twitter. Likewise, religious institutions should get a pass on that well for their fairy tale grifting scheme for some reason.

But hey, seizing the healthcare coverage of millions of Americans is what needs to be on chopping block first.

'Lefties losing it' is my favorite part of the Trump reign so far...

Like, how dare 'special' folks be made accountable for their actions, or asked to be report on their job or to go out and work honestly

Do you have any idea of the history of labor? Having a guy that expects his employees to work 80 hour weeks or resign is a bit much. Especially since he's been dishonest about his findings since this project started.

Lol, you are from Thailand. What do you know about America’s healthcare and tax system?

Children with leukemia didn’t do anything to be “accountable” for. The prices for healthcare in this country is jacked up to the rim, healthcare coverage helps temper it out. Also Trump could be more fiscally conservative as well to minimize the debt. There are so many other domains to chip away waste. Why is healthcare that American Lives rely on first?
