If people want the border wall so fucking bad might as well let them have it. I would compromise on the border wall as a liberal if the min wage was also raised or we got medicare for all.
Since the hate of immigration is ostensibly about people taking jobs from Americans and driving wages down, it would make sense to pair the border wall with another law that benefits working Americans.

Gas tax here certainly sucks, but otherwise it's a very reasonable state when it comes to taxes. Certain counties can be a pain though as they'll hit you with a city, county, and state tax all at once. Overall North Carolina is a great state and we've got just about everything here outside of desert. We've got forests, coast line, islands, lake systems, mountains...pretty amazing state.

Not so. Trump has never given any specific indication that I recall as to what he wants, or worked with anyone to get it done. Them one week he even slightly attempted infrastructure, his plan boiled down to making everything a toll road or bridge. And it flamed out, because it was stupid.

There’s 2 possibilities here: Trump purposely makes moves to benefit countries whom we are not allies with for whatever reason, or he’s grossly inept and lacks strategy and understanding. It’s a crapshoot with him as to which is true. Could be both.
What he did to the Kurds was despicable. If he wants to scale down our presence, there are intelligent ways to do that. Just like if he wants to address health care, or infrastructure, or trade with China, or immigration, etc., etc., there are ways to do that which are reasonable and make sense. He seems unwilling or unable to do those things.

That just isn’t true though. Trump has done nothing to get us out of Mideast conflict. Withdrawing from the Iran Nuclear Deal for no good reason doesn’t reduce tensions. Moving our Israeli Embassy to Jerusalem, resulting in 56 deaths, doesn’t reduce tensions. And as the article I posted pointed out, he wasn’t really bringing troops home in that instance either, but rather “relocating” them to Iraq (to fight ISIS, which he assured us had been defeated—by him, of course).
As to being a Putin puppet: I’m not sure what he is. But when he makes decisions like the ones I listed, when he cripples our farmers with a trade war lacking in strategy and sense, and when he alienates our allies, he’s certainly not acting on our behalf.
My message to conservatives is: if you don’t agree with liberal viewpoints, or don’t support liberals/Democrats, fine. But this guy is a con-artist, and not a very good one at that. We need to put our differences aside, and remove him from office ASAP. Then vote Pence in 2020 if that’s your inclination.
