ISIS are Salafists. Wahhabis are Salafists and do not like being called Wahhabis as they consider it derogatory. Salafists are ones who really do take the Quran and Hadiths to heart .

Muslim men who wear their robes with hemline above the ankle, sport a neckbeard and shaved or trimmed mustache are Salafist. Muslim women who wear a Niqab or Burqa are Salafist. Salafist support Islamism and Sharia law.

ISIS hate salifis and call them talafis....basically talkers. Salifis are conservatives who preach going back top the quraan and sunnah. They always preach about knowledge. The main thing they hate them is they say while our people are being killed every day you want to preach about knowledge and reading. Honestly you have said this in the past and who ever told you this stuff gave you wrong info. Some of the biggest scholars in Saudi are salifis and all of them are extremely harsh on ISIS and their supporters. Can you name any of the salafi scholars who support ISIS?
