Anderson Silva lives in a very expensive home in Los Angeles. A few years ago when he was on his losing streak he tried to sell it for 4.9 million dollars.

Property taxes on this place are $50,000 per year.

I don’t know if he has a mortgage. Hopefully not.

He lives in California which has some of the highest income taxes in the world. He probably loses half his pay to taxes, if not more.

He has not one, not two, but FIVE children and a wife to provide for.

if he can’t fight I hope he has other streams of income.

He should follow Rogan's example and move away from California to a place where his Burger King money can go a long way.

Opening a some MMA school (after COVID) would also be a good business venture for the Spider given his popularity and name recognition.

Anderson isn't fighting for money, though I'm sure it's nice.

Property values goin down in the rich parts of LA. A combination of fires, high taxes, bad economy and a dumbass Governor.

He sold that home a few years ago.

He's been on a big contract he signed back when he was champ at his peak so I'd be very surprised if he was struggling.

Doubt it until there's an actual source

Silva has such a big following that he can venture off into other businesses and earn a lot of money

Also im sure he was smart enough and had the right people around him during his peak to help him with investing and ensuring he wouldnt be broke when he retired

He can always move back to Brazil and be instantly rich again due to the currency conversion.

Anderson has no business doing MMA. I don't want to see him anywhere else either. With that said some of his children are close to grown up. Even if Anderson has no business fighting I would think he has PLENTY of avenues to revenue. It's cliche but he could start with opening his own school... assuming he doesn't already. I'm sure he has a great mind for young up and coming talent.

He's one of the GoaT. He should be able to market himself somehow without taking an ass whooping...

Many top athletes don't have a problem making money. They have a problem spending money.

Props to Forrest, who banked his money and is probably still driving the TUF car that looks like a toaster.
