Anyone else catch these shows ? Always great when ROH and NJPW work together (they share talent all the time, some guys basically work full time split between both companies).

Really great seeing the join shows over in Japan tho, you really get another angle into the Japanese audience - how they respond differently in different circumstances. As in, it's not just the people themselves, but it's like a "When in Rome" atmosphere.

At a Japanese wrestling show they act like Japanese wrestling fans, at American wrestling shows they act ... well, they don't turn completely into American fans but it's like a hybrid. They'll do American-style chants they don't really do normally, etc.

And just seeing how the Japanese and American guys hybridize their styles. NJPW and ROH styles are much closer than either of them to WWE stye, but they're still definitely different - and it's great seeing how they each approach the others' conventions.

BTW, main event of night one - Roderick Strong (c) vs Tomohiro Ishii for ROH World Television title ... one of the most brutal matches I've ever seen. Exhausting just to watch it.

I really urge any of y'all who haven't seen it to check it out.
