Homeland is in it's third(?) episode of it's 3rd season. The last thread made it to 100 pages so I'm making the new thread.

Gonna kick it off with some questions:

Why was Season 2 so much worse than Season 1?
Will Season 3 be better or worse than Season 2?
    How bad ass is Quinn?
What will Brody's role be? Triple-Quadruple-Octouple Agent?
Is the daughter legal? Is it okay for Showtime to depict teh sex between teenagers? What purpose does it serve?

Edit: One More. Will Saul's suspicious behavior during the polygraph in Season 1 ever go anywhere or was that just a red herring?

Season 3 is still early but I'm enjoying it so far. Seems like Saul has an endgame so we just need to wait and see.

Quinn is still a badass and that new chick is hot.

Would do New Chick. For sure.

I can't tell what Saul is planning or if he has any plan at all.

When is Carrie going to realize how bat-shit crazy she gets when not on her meds?

I just want the storyline to unfold about why Saul got involved with the CIA....

Just like Carrie, his father was in the organization before him, and was his role model.
When Saul was a teenager, his father was killed...by the man who will later be revealed to be the mastermind behind the terror cell they are hunting down.

After a slow build up, Saul comes face to face with this man, and proclaims to him...

"Hello. My name is Saul Berenson. You killed my father..........prepare to die."

I loved Homeland, both seasons... and I don't consider the second a huge drop in quality as compared to the first. It had a low point or two, still a top-tier show..... but....

So far season 3 has sucked. WTF happened? Did Showtime get cocky over their Emmy wins last year?

Thats why it is such a great storyline. People who are bipolar are known to be non-compliant with their medications because of their lack of awareness of their illness (anosognosia). Even when they do they're known to rationalize going off their meds and coming up with "alternative" means of coping.

Saul is up to something- and I'm not just referring to him throwing Carrie under the bus in his deposition.

He's been up to something since season 1. I think most of us thought he was a closet Muslim /terrorist himself at one point.

They better reveal more about Saul this season. Even though I think Carrie's bi-polar and the girls teenage wasteland are the best parts of the story, Saul is hands down the best character.

The two main characters now (Carrie and Brody's daughter) are both too crazy right now to be relatable to the audience

It doesn't help matters that most of the meds they give people with BPD absolutely suck to take.

Clair Dames is acting her ass off thus far. She got this crazy act down pat. Acting has always been great though, the story did get a little out of hand last season. this season so far has gotten back to the great subtlety of the first.

I'm not sure if this was discussed but apparently people are angry at the show concerning Dana.

I'm not angry, but I agree with the critics.

Quinn is the only likeable person on the whole show. My god, Carrie is such a detestable character. Every choice she makes and every word that comes out of her histrionic mouth leaves you disgusted.

I am now convinced that Claire Danes is either one of the best actresses of our time or...she is really completely nuts.

Multiple times an episode Carrie is on the verge of crying. You know, always struggling to hold back the tears... I don't know if this is getting on anyone elses' nerves or what.
