Grappling is a catch all term for many different disciplines. Khabib certainly has more of a varied grappling arsenal than Rousey. The talent pool he faces is also infinitely deeper than what Ronda was facing.

I have the same concerns for Khabib that I had for Ronda. The difference is that Khabib has the tools to utilize low wrestling takedowns where Ronda doesn’t. I didn’t think Ronda was dumb enough to bull rush an elite (by wmma standard) striker with her arms wide open but she did. I don’t think Khabib will be that stupid unless pride gets the better of him. He has better coaches than Ronda and I would hope they’re telling him not to crow hop forward with Conor like he does everyone else. Conor can hurt anyone and Khabib would be very foolish to think he’s any different.
