She is a skilled boxer but a very mediocre Mixed Martial Artist. She does well against average fighters, but MMArtists that can strike well, or God-forbid grapple, she doesn't do too well against. I don't think she'll do much in the UFC against anyone who isn't a can.

I'll watch her fight Jessica Rakozcy maybe b/c they're similar fighters, that'll be interesting.

Jessica, not Jennifer. And Rakoczy is way to small for Holm.

The UFC will give her another shot, but if she loses another one she'll probably end up on the chopping board.
 
Bellator would be a good home for all wmma fighter.
 
She's 35 years old. It's time for her to retire.
 
She should fight Ronda again. And again. And again.

The world was her oyster at that point. Had she won her last 3 fights including a Ronda rematch she would have been a legit mainstream star by now. Oh how things have changed.
 
I heard she is fighting Julianna Pena for the inaugural women's 155 lb. Championship.

she doesn't do too well against grapplers? did you miss her fights against Ronda and Miesha? lol

not sure what is next for her, but I hope she stays at 145. She was in excellent condition and with a better gameplan (like abandoning the clinch and repeated failed takedowns), I would even like to see a rematch with Germaine.

She okay against Meisha as long as Meisha couldn't grab her. That's good for Muay Thai, not so much for MMA.

Ronda doesn't really know how to fight. lol

It's really the butterfly effect of MMA.

She was a minute-and-a-half away from getting a decision against Tate. I think she would've matched up stylistically better against Nunes, and would've been the favourite going in. Had she got past Nunes, she probably would've landed the Rousey rematch in December, and likely would've repeated the beatdown, and like you said, would've been one of the biggest stars in the sport right now.

Craziness. She could have legitimately been the second biggest star in the UFC at this point. Now she's 1 fight away from possibly getting canned.

Oh BullShit...I just rewatched that fight...HOLLY WON and got cheated.. it was clearly 3 to 2.......... NOT EVEN COUNTING A POINT THAT SHOULD OF BEEN DEDUCTED...HOLLY WON ... SHE IS THE REAL CHAMP...FUK THE JUDGES
 
She's not good at being the aggressor. The opponent needs to come to her. She'd probably do well against Cyborg (in comparison to other girls) and maybe that's the fight to make (if GDR takes a break) - just ride it into the rocks, Holly.
