Prediction, this will be a great fight. But I think Holloway TKOs Ortega in the 3rd.
Agreed I think Holloway moves better, has the stronger chin and has the better cardio. I don't think Ortega's going to have the chance to use his grappling. I do think Frankie would have beaten Hollaway though.Prediction, this will be a great fight. But I think Holloway TKOs Ortega in the 3rd.

Because Frankie was scared of taking Ortega to the ground, Frankie does best when his threat of the take down sets up his striking and visa versa. Holloway is a good grappler, good takedown defense but not enough to fend off Frankie one of the best mma wrestlers ever. After seeing what Ortega did to Frankie, how could you still say he would have beaten Holloway, Holloway would have stiffed him in the 2nd or 3rd Round? Holloway and Ortega are around the same size, but Holloway has much more crisp and technical boxing in the stand up department. He would have done what Ortega did but later in the fight.

Styles make fights.
Sure I agree Holloway is a good grappler, I just haven't seen enough of him to be able to say he's good enough to beat Frankie on the ground unlike Ortega who had the grappling advantage in everyone's mind. Ofcourse you never really know until they fight, impossible game to predict accurately.I don't know about that, Edgar said in multiple interviews that he was training for someone that's good on the ground(Max) and even though Holloway has most of his finishes by TKO, he has a good under the radar submission game, so he wouldn't be lost on the ground either, and like Ortega, he has a large frame and limbs to capitalize on Frankie's wrestling and try to nab a submission. I don't think Edgar would have had much success taking Max down if he utilized his frame and range.
To each their own I guess.
