I think this one would be quite interesting if Cody decided to move up.. what u guys think???

Good fight. Cody is a bad matchup for max imo

Think Max picks him apart fairly easy.

I think the opposite. Max is a bad match up for Cody. Max's length and boxing would give Cody all kinds of trouble imo..

Cody is a way better boxer and holloway has no power, and he cant take cody down

max is another criminally underrated fighter who only lost to the defenseless champion where he went the distance and fights when he was basically a child

Cody would bite down on his mouthpiece and make it a scrap but Holloway would put him away inside two rounds. Too big and too skilled and better chin.

Max likes to get into too many brawl exchanges and take shots, add that to Cody's overall demeanor toward his opponents/fighting style up we would for sure see them during the fight, and Cody's huge speed advantage would expose that flaw in Max's game and I could see him being KO'd as he probably has just as much power in his hands as Max does.

Cody No Chin got KO'd by the weakest right hook I think I've seen in a fight. Max would sleep him with a jab.

Controlling distance would be Max's greatest advantage. Don't think Cody would be able to even get close enough to do any damage..

And to say Max has no power is redonkulous..

if cody fought smart and stopped that show boating shit he has the technique to hang in there and beat most anyone at or near his weight class... but... i dont think he can take Maxs punches and im pretty sure max can take his at least i think he can so Id have to say Max by KO.

Think Max is too big, strong and composed for Cody. Aldo was going at Max early in those fights and he didn't shake or bend at all. I don't think Cody has more fire power than Aldo has tbh. Max would be cautious early, then put it on Cody mid-fight.

Cody couldn't even KO TJ. Meanwhile, Max ate an uppercut from Aldo, directly on the chin at full speed. He clapped his hands and smiled immediately after. What the fuck is going on your head that makes you think Cody would KO Max?Lol Cody hits extremely hard for a 135er. However, I can guarantee you he doesn't hit as hard as Conor, Aldo, or Stephens.

All of Cody’s wins come from his opponents engaging him in the pocket. He has like a 63” reach and only throws hooks. Someone tall and rangey like max would have a field day with him

Yep. He's got that Diaz/Bisping thing going on where he throws with like 50% power to help cardio. But he can throw hard when he wants to.

Cody's lack of boxing fundamentals is what got him knocked out. Perhaps he should've tucked his chin and kept his rear hand up before TJ put his lights out. And volume>power.
