The article is really trying to make it seem like it is the cops fault. I wonder if that is true...there is a decent chance that if the cops were never called and came in guns blazing that this chick wouldn't have been shot. Then again maybe this guy was going to kill all 4 people and the cops saved the other 3. I guess we will never know.

Given the shitty area Hofstra is in, though, this is not exactly surprising. I used to work at a real hellhole about 5 minutes from Hofstra, and while it isn't exactly Detroit, it's definitely not the safest place in the world.

Nassau and Suffolk PD are known to kill people that are unarmed. When I saw this on the local news last night and they said they were investigating to see whether it was the criminal or the cops that killed her, it saddened but didn't surprise me that this would be one of the first things they said.

i went to hofstra and yeah it is in a shit hole area, especially west of the school.

and to the poster with the pic of the attacker, i knew he would look like that when i saw the thread title.

also, do not go to the hempstead train station

I used to work at the A. Holly Patterson building in Uniondale on Jerusalem Avenue. You could smell the crime in the air.

I live in a shitty area myself with an embarrassing amount of crime, so I'm used to it. But it sucks nonetheless.

Local paper had a better pic of her, where the flash didn't reflect from her eyes. Very pretty girl.

If she was ugly and fat this would have received 2 lines in some local paper. Although in this case The Christian Post may not care.
