Hoe much space for rolling at home?

I'm planning to extend my house and would like a small home gym and matted area big enough for just 2 people to roll.
Any suggestions for minimum space for 2 people to roll?

From my own experience, if you just want to drill techniques with someone 2x2 m is quite enough, but if you want to do some sparrings and takedowns I would recommend 3x3. I have six puzzle mats 1x1 and it is really hard to not pause the sparring because of leaving mats zone.

Minimum 3 meters by 3 meters.

Ceilings matter for throwin, you'd want no less than 3m.
