I didn't know they were doing this. Definitely jumping on Blood Money

I still play Blood Money (best game in the franchise, imo) since it's backwards compatible, but I'll gladly take a 4K version of it.

More choices are always good. I don't need it though because the originals are perfectly fine with me.

Would have preferred a remaster of contracts over absolution. Does absolution even need remastering since its last gen?

Will be picking this up for blood money. Absolution was poor but did have some interesting levels like the courtroom

Not really, no. It's actually one of the more impressive looking last gen games. I guess frame rates could be touched up, but I can't imagine it looking all that different.

Odd decision though, because I'm pretty sure Absolution is the least liked Hitman game. Maybe that's just the hardcore fans opinion though. Not sure how well it sold compared to the others.

Yeah that too. It certainly wasn't the best hitman game. I'm guessing remastering contracts was just more work than they wanted.

The publisher's probably banking on those Absolution fans who bought the game on a whim and aren't necessarily fans of the series seeing the remaster, then seeing that there's another cheap Hitman remaster, and hooking them into Blood Money and the more typical Hitman games that way.

Apparently, BM looks the same as it did before.
