Hitting depth is the requirement for a good squat in a PL meet. Squatting is not just about power-lifting, it's about strength training. As long as the kid doesn't compete in PL, nobody cares if his 405 PR is an inch above or an inch bellow parallel.

Also, sorry for commenting on your bf's av. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings!

But I think the thing with the shirtless pictures is that it seems kind of vain. When people om SHerdog have pictures of other guys without shirts as avatars, either they are (i) pictures of MMA fighters doing their thing, or (ii) pictures taken from gay porn as a result of losing an Avatar bet. Putting yourself up isn't either of those things, so it's definitely not the same.

So, if you have an avatar like that, you can't justify it as logically parallel to having a picture of Andre Arlovski in his combat shorts. You have to justify it by saying: I look awesome without a shirt and I want everyone to see that. That's your call.
