It is widely known that the real reason the native American Indians were pushed out west / lost their land is because of the white man's desire for gold. Ever heard of the trail of tears? The same thing is happening here. You see, the miners started running Indians out of Georgia and North Carolina after the word got out that gold was discovered. Years later, many of these same miners heard of gold to be found out west. These miners risked their lives to travel long and far and became known as the 49ers. Those Indians were removed as well in the little known California Genocide. Needless to say, miners will do anything to get past Indians in the name of gold.
Fast forward to 2020: Super Bowl gold is on the line. Do you think the 49ers will let a few Indian chiefs get in the way of their quest for gold? If I were you, I'd drink a fifth of firewater and bet the casino on the 49ers.
