Hillary is losing against every republican except for Trump, where she is barely scraping by with 1 percentage point.

Bernie, on the other hand, has a good lead against every republican candidate.

So the message here is, if you want the Republicans to win, support Hillary and allow the cheaters and swindlers to pull her through to the democratic nomination.

I find her like-ability numbers to be what is so damning for her.

No candidate has ever been elected president with the negative numbers she has.

People don't trust her, and don't like her, at well above 50%.

Clinton would need a 3rd party person to run to actually win, so it would split the 50% of people that just won't vote for her.

Either that or someone like trump who people dislike even more. I think rubio would kick her teeth in, in a head to head matchup.

Speaking of which, I have this idea that the parties have matchups they know favor them, like Clinton v trump, or sanders v rubio favoring the dems, and rubio v clinton, favoring the reps, I think sanders v trump is undiscovered territory, and they are both working towards these favorable mathups in complete disregard of the people, democracy, and legitimacy, which would be a very dangerous game.

You sure about that? Nixon was not so loved when he ran again after losing to JFK and being VP for Eisenhower. Bush Sr, rod the Reagan wave but looking back at polls there was strong left wing opposition to him that eventually won in his reelection bid. That is not even mentioning very untrustworthy candidates who ran before the 1900s. Oh and what about LBJ? He didn't even run and let his VP take the chance for the party and the Democrats responded by choosing a guy way too left leaning (Mcgovern) and lost to Nixon.

And if Clinton is so unelectable than why is the GOP hoping Sanders beats her? Why isn't the GOP rolling out their money machine to fuel propaganda against Sanders?

If she is unelectable than they would prefer her to win over Sanders because it would make it easier to defeat her. Instead however, the set up witch hunts like the Benghazi hearing among other stupid things in an attempt to derail her.

The GOP could certainly win but you overestimate their broad popularity at this moment. Especially with guys like Trump and Cruz who turn off many undecided and moderate voters. GOP will run Rubio if they are smart.

Okay I can agree on the first half. There are no polls we can only go off what the press said at the time. And you seem confident in your statement on the other presidents and their favorability before they were elected. However, isn't the threshold just needing 50% of support? Even though Trump stands diametrically opposite to much of my ideology (I am leftist ), if the election was between him and Hillary I would never vote for Hillary . So for me either vote for Trump or write-in Bernie. I come from a Dem family that supports Hillary and parents voted for Bill twice .

I think you misunderstood me. It isn't that they won't attack sanders, it is that they are wary of the messenger.

Fox news calling bernie a old socialist jew over and over, is an attack on sanders.

Using money from billionaires to call bernie a communist, through bought media time, helps bernie. As you said, they called obama a communist too, the accusation keeps being devalued, because if you aren't a free marketer, you are a socialist Marxist decedent of Stalin and hilter.
