Highlight video of my 12th mma fight

Great job changing elevation underneath his punches when he advanced. Big fan of hitting that snatch single (the first takedown) when someone overcommits.

Kudos on the win, you definitely looked comfortable in there. Did you know much about your opponent before the fight?

Thanks man.
I didn’t know much except that he liked to come forward and brawl. Game plan was to play it safe and grapple, although I think I could have struck with him more

Perhaps you ain't rushing it, but if I hadn't read the title I would assume you were a seasoned pro

I have a couple of friends, or friends of friends if I'm accurate who are professional fighters,one undefeated and I doubt their grappling is as solid. Of course opposition matters, but you look very comfortable in there

Not sure of your age, but perhaps now is a good time to go pro??

Thanks man. Been trying for a bit. Hit a rough patch where I’ve been travelling to the mainland, and then fought and lost for 4 ammy tittles in a row. So my coach didn’t want me to turn pro off a loss.

This was my first fight in Hawaii since 5 years ago, as I wasn’t able to get any fights here this whole time, so I was essentially forced to fight the hometown guy for 4 fights in a row, basically being the underdog and brought in to lose. Either that or just remain inactive lol. I was actually really surprised they found someone for me this time.

Now that I’m coming off a win, I can either try to get a win steak going, or turn pro. Either one is fine by me.

I also have about 13 kickboxing and like a hundred grappling matches lol
