He is often accused of being self-loathing, which he denies. He enjoys his indulgent lifestyle and being gay, but acknowledges that it would be far easier to be straight (growing up, bullying, etc.)

He's a Catholic, but doesn't necessarily give a shit about what he's supposed to be or how he's supposed to behave. He's indoctrinated, essentially. Whether you think he's really catholic or not...up to you.
