I originally posted this in the UFC forum and received a great response, but since we talk so much about "Stand-up" in this interview I figured it would be appropriate here to.

The other day I was lucky enough to get an email response from Duane

I don't have time to listen to it right now, but those look like interesting topics.

Listened to it and it was great up until you asked QUOTE "Is it eastern time in Colorado right now?"

Jesus christ kid. Jesus christ. Get your shit together.

    Haha,

I immediately regretted saying that. It was late, I was exhausted and not thinking straight by the end of this!

    Thanks for the kind words.

He does, but in an indirect way. Something like "I'm willing to put in what they put in".

Yep that was one of the better interviews I've heard. Not too bloated either- lots of good and interesting info in a compact time-frame.

People today don't have giant gobs of freetime like they used to-- I don't know why so many podcasts are slow and drag for literal hours. Interviews should almost always be 20 minutes, but with more good questions/info packed in and less sounding like the people on air just ate a giant meal and are gradually falling asleep-- I can't stand that crap

Thank you! I won't lie, this was the shortest interview I've done so far....I've had terrible times in my life were a podcast was my only form of human "interaction", so I've got a soft spot for the longer podcast. To each their own though.

Ok well yeah. I'm not against longer time periods, but if you're going to do that, make sure it's constantly entertaining and/or enlightening the entire time (definitely easier with a shorter cast, but longer is still great with that formula)

    Keep the good stuff comin
